"I recently received my black belt in Brazilian Jiu jitsu in December. It was one of my proudest accomplishments in life. Knowing all the hard work and the amount of hours that goes into years of training it was a very fulfilling moment for me. I was a competitive dancer for most of my life and always active into sports. I joined an MMA gym for a fitness class after I retired from dance and had friends that convinced me to try BJJ. I immediately fell in love with it. I enjoy jiu-jitsu because it is very challenging and constantly evolving.

One of my goals as an instructor is to make Jiu-Jitsu fun and to create a welcoming environment. I believe that Jiu-Jitsu can be for anyone, and no matter what skill level you are, you can benefit from it. Another goal of mine is to help get more women involved in Jiu jitsu. I believe that it can be very beneficial and empowering for women. I believe that training Jiu jitsu can help you gain confidence in yourself and grow in many different ways. I enjoy teaching as it makes me excited to see others do well and progress as time goes on.

I also enjoy competing and taking classes myself. No matter how long you have been training there’s always more you can learn and get more proficient at. Competing also helps you learn and emerge as a better version of yourself. I also believe competing teaches you how to be resilient and work under pressure in bad situations.

I look forward to meeting everyone and getting the chance to work with new people."
